The laboratory develops and applies analytical methods based on the coupling between liquid chromatography and low- and high-resolution mass spectrometry, for determining contaminants (both natural and anthropogenic) in food and environmental samples. Particular attention is devoted to environmental contaminants of emerging concern and their possible transformation products.
