SAXSLab Sapienza

SAXSLab Sapienza is a structural characterization laboratory where the Xenocs XEUSS 2.0 X-ray diffractometer purchased thanks to the funding of the University Big Equipment 2015 project is operating.

The instrument allows to perform Small Angle X-Ray Scattering (SAXS), Wide Angle X-ray Scattering (WAXS) and Grazing Incidence Small Angle Scattering (GISAXS) measurements. These techniques are widely applicable for the characterization of matter at the nano and meso-scale.

For the use of the instruments, see the Access to the facility page.

The team that manages SAXSLab is at disposal to discuss potential experiments, as well as to agree on collaborations that include more advanced data analysis and interpretation.
