Enzymatic electrodes for biosensing and the analysis of extra-virgin olive oils

Metallic and semiconductiong substrates are opportunely modified with nanostructured systems and ionic liquids for the immobilization of enzymes. The resulting multicomponent electrode are used for biosensing. In particular, the enzymatic electrodes are used for the analysis of extra-virgin olive oils obtained from monocultivar. The methods of electroanalysis are chronoamperometric and include both potentiostatic and potentiodynamic modes.
