Polyurethanes and functionalized polyacrylamides, biodegradable and not, as anticoagulants, protein, and medicines carriers or as scaffolds for tissue engineering. Development of antifouling polymer surfaces for medical devices. Optimization of biological tests for the assessment of anticoagulants, antifouling and antibacterial properties of the polymeric matrices. Development of nano particles and nanocomposite polymeric core/shell with magnetic properties for the controlled and targeted drug release .
