The research interest of prof Anna Laura Capriotti is focused on developing innovative analytical methods in the field of metabolomics, lipidomics, proteomics, and peptidomics based on liquid chromatography coupled to low and high-resolution mass spectrometry for determining substances present in complex biological matrices, such as food, clinical and environmental samples. Particular attention is also devoted to developing sample pretreatment for the enrichment and clean-up of trace-level compounds.
