Born in Rome on 27/06/1965, he lived there until the completion of studies, with PhD in Chemistry in 1994. Then he moved to Germany (University of Paderborn) as one year post doc. In October 1995 he moved to Potenza as assistant professor in Organic Chemistry at University ofBasilicata, where he worked for more than 25 years. He regularly spent some months in France (University of Strasbourg) developing scientific collaborations and in 2015 he spent there a full year as visiting researcher. On September 2022 he moved back to Rome as associate professor in Organic Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome. He is married, with one son.
