Stereoselctive synthesis of organic compounds via asymmetric organocatalysis and domino/one-pot reactions

Application of small optically pure organic molecules, synthetic or from chiral pool, as homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysts in the stereoselective synthesis of organic compounds, mainly heterocycles, with potential applications in pharmaceutical chemistry, health or other fields. Particular focus is addressed to the optimization of multi-step processes carried out in the same reaction flask, employing domino/one-pot reactions. These procedures simplify remarkably the synthetic methodologies, reducing the number of intermediate and decreasing environmental impact and synthetic costs
