Structural and dynamic properties of complex systems with applicative impact

Line of research
Liquid-amorphous systems of broad applicative impact (electrochemical, (bio-) catalysis, separation, synthesis) such as ionic liquids, green solvents, supercritical CO2, (bio) polymers are explored on a large spatial scale (from intra-molecular correlations to the formation of nano-aggregates) using experimental and computational techniques. The use of x-ray diffraction techniques available in the Department (Labs EDXD, SAXS, CNIS) and access to Large Scale Facilities (synchrotron and neutron sources) allow obtaining detailed knowledge of the morphological properties.
