Inorganic nanomaterials synthesis and characterization laboratory
The activity of the lab deals with the synthesis, characterization and the study of the stability of inorganic and hybrid materials, with a special emphasis on materials for photovoltaics. Currently our research is focused on three main topics 1. New hybrid metal halide perovskites containing highly conjugated organic cations for photovoltaics and light-emitting devices; 2. Thermal and thermodynamic stability studies of hybrid metal halide perovskites that allow high conversion efficiency in photovoltaic devices; 3. Study of semiconducting oxides for Si-based heterojunction solar cells.
