Synthesis, properties and photovoltaic applications on inorganic nanostructures Line of research The nanomaterials under investigation are: 1. Carbon nanotubes, both multi-walled and single-walled; 2. Titanium dioxide (anatase) )_TiO2; 3. Doped titanium dioxide (anatase) _d-TiO2. The aim of our research is the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials for photoanodes of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs), and their assembling and testing. DSSCs with photoanodes made of TiO2, d-TiO2 doped with Sc or Nb and TiO2/MWCN Schottky junctions have been assembled and tested.
