On the occasion of the Rome Open House 2024, the Stanislao Cannizzaro building (CU014) opens on Saturday 6 April. The OHR is an annual event that opens hundreds of buildings in the capital notable for their architectural features and history to the public free of charge. The Chemistry Institute of the University City is a beautiful example of "architecture for the sciences" designed by Pietro Aschieri and completed only in 1938. The visits (in Italian language only) will be led by architect Alberto Coppo for the architectural project by Pietro Aschieri, by professor Franco Calascibetta for the history of the Chemical Institute. Visiting times: 10.00 | 11.00 am | 12.00 Access is by reservation on the Open House Roma website and the rush line (even without a reservation to replace booked visitors who do not show up).
