Biography
1994-present: Researcher, INAIL, Research Sector. - 2010, PhD in Analytical Chemistry, University of Rome “La Sapienza”. 1989-1994, Scholarship program, CNR Rome. 1989, Master’s Degree in Chemistry, University of Rome “La Sapienza”. - 1st February – 30th November 2001, Visiting researcher at The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Division of Surveillance, Hazard Evaluations, and Field Studies (DSHEFS), Cincinnati, OH - USA Scientific supervisor and research unit coordinator of national projects in the field of air pollution by POP and bioaerosol. Reviewer of national project proposals for the Ministry of Health. Member of several Fellowship Selection Committee Co-supervisor of numerous thesis in analytical chemistry, referee for several international journals and author of numerous papers on peer reviewed scientific journals. Research areas: analytical chemistry, environmental monitoring, occupational safety and health.

Development and optimization of analytical methods for determining organic compounds emitted to the atmosphere by industrial and human activities (PAHs, nitro-PAHs, oxy-PAHs, flame retardants, mycotoxins, fungi and bacteria markers), that may cause harmful effects to human health. Application of the methods to environmental samples collected from worksites and living areas.
