Development of nanostructured polymeric systems for drug delivery or as scaffolds for tissue engineering. In particular, the research aims to synthesis, functionalization and characterization of polyurethanes, polyacrylamides, polyesters and polysaccharides as well as to preparation of core/shell magnetic nanocomposites for targeted release of bioactive molecules.
