This research is aimed at studying the mechanism of alkali metal doping of CIGSe (Cu(In,Ga)Se2) substrates, which are of great interest for photovoltaic applications. In particular, the main goal is to study the vaporization behaviour of sodium and potassium selenides and to detect vapor phase species which could be involved in gas-phase doping processes.
