Advanced chemometric methods for the characterization and authentication of complex real matrices

Line of research
Development of innovative analytical approaches based on the coupling of advanced chemometric methods (where necessary, in the absence of alternatives, de novo designed and developed to address specific issues) to recorded instrumental profiles (preferably, spectroscopic, in the infrared region , in order to exploit the advantages associated with these techniques: speed, minimal sample pretreatment, non-destructiveness and cost) for the characterization of complex matrices, mainly in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
