Workshop online IRSA-CNR - Circular Economy: Research and Innovation

Wednesday, 24 March, 2021

The workshop "Circular Economy: Research and Innovation" organized by the Water Research Institute (IRSA-CNR) will be held on April 14, 2021 from 9.00 to 17.00.

In recent years, research, development and experimentation of innovative solutions for the efficient and sustainable use of resources has become increasingly central, with the aim of promoting the reconversion of production activities towards a circular economy model in which the value of products, materials and resources is maintained for as long as possible, and the production of waste is minimized.

The workshop (in webinar mode) aims to highlight the role of research and technological innovation in the circular economy sector.

The workshop is open to the CNR community and to public and private entities.

The event will therefore provide an opportunity to evaluate the possible applications and market opportunities of the technologies developed by IRSA researchers through a comparison between Universities, Research Bodies, Water System Managers and innovative SMEs present on the national territory. The presentations will be interspersed with discussion sessions in which participants will be able to ask questions to the speakers.
