Maria Assunta Navarra is pleased to invite you to the seminar:

Electromobility with Batteries or Fuel Cells?

 Jürgen Garche, Ulm University (Germany)

The seminar will be held in Parravano Hall, first floor, Cannizzaro building CU014, Thursday 25th May at 12 PM.

Abstract

- To reduce the environmental problems caused by the transportation sector the electromobility is being expanded greatly.

- Both batteries and fuel cells can be used as energy source to drive the electric motor.

- Ad/disadvantages of battery electric vehicle (BEV) and fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) will be discussed.

- Besides car weight and range of the vehicles also the performance and costs of the energy source is essential.

- In detail it will be discussed the state-of-the-art and future of R&D especially on batteries.
