Biography
Lorenzo Cristiani is research fellow at the Chemistry Department of the Sapienza University of Rome. He holds the degree in Industrial chemistry in the 2018 and the PhD in Industrial chemical processes (XXXIV cycle) in 2022 with a thesis entitled "Development of bioelectrochemical systems for biomethane and biohydrogen production". During the PhD school he spent 7 months at the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INP) (Toulouse, France). He is the author of more than 10 scientific publications in international journals and over 12 including invited presentations and communications at international conferences

Study and development of bioelectrochemical systems for the recovery of nutrient and energy from wastewaters. More specifically, production of hydrogen, acetate and biogas upgrading using wastewaters exploiting bioelectrochemical systems in laboratory or pilot scale.
