Lorenzo Celio

Dottorando in Scienze chimiche XXXVII Ciclo
Born in Palestrina (RM), 17 August 1995, Lorenzo Celio obtains a secondary school-leaving qualification in scientific studies at the Stanislao Cannizzaro Secondary School in Rome. In May 2018 he obtains a bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Rome Tor Vergata under the supervision of Professor Laura Micheli by defending his thesis, titled "Study of a microfluidic flow injection immunoassay system with spectrophotometric detection: preliminary results", which grants him his first published paper. In September 2018 he takes part in the first "international EUROMBR training course" at the Technische Universität of Braunschweig, by discussing his bachelor's degree thesis. In June 2021 he obtains a master's degree in Chemistry, specialising in organic and biomolecular chemistry, at Sapienza University of Rome with vote 110/110 under the supervision of Professor Francesca Leonelli, by defending his thesis, titled "Synthesis and characterization of recyclable polymers cured by disulfide bridges". In November 2021 he enrolls to the first year of the Ph.D. program in Chemical Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome, carrying out research in the field of organic chemistry under the supervision of Professor Francesca Leonelli.
