Postdoctoral fellow
Biography
Corrado Zamparelli graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2017/2018 at the Sapienza university defending the thesis "Synthesis and Characterizzation of mixtures composed by cationic block copolymer and biliar salts", supervisioned by prof. Luciano Galantini. During the same year he worked for a short period in the R&D department for a company involved in the "Fabrics and Home Care" field. Then, in the year 2019/2020, after a curricular trainee supervisioned by prof. Francesca Pagnanelli and Maria Assunta Navarra, he discussed the thesis " Synthesis and Characterizzation of electrodic materials starting from spent lithium-ion batteries" obtaining the Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry with a final score of 110/110 with laude. He recently won a Research Fellow with prof. Maria Assunta Navarra and now, he is working on the project "CIRCULAR ECONOMY: Recovery of plastics and wood using green processes" dealing with the exploitation of the recovered materials (cellulose and Lignin) as new components in Lithium batteries.
