ANOVA – Simultaneous Component Analysis (ASCA)

ANOVA – Simultaneous Component Analysis (ASCA) is a multivariate method for analyzing matrices coming from designed experiments. It was originally proposed and developed by the Biosystems Data Analysis group of the University of Amsterdam. Here, a matlab function for calculating and validating ASCA models with an arbitrary number of factors is presented. So far, only calculation of effects up to the third order interactions is contemplated.
