Elisa Sonego

Dottorando in Scienze chimiche XXXIV Ciclo
Born in Rome on December 16th 1992. In 2011 she gained her diploma at the high school "Evangelista Torricelli" of Rome. In 2015 she gained the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" with the experimental thesis entitled "Silver nanoparticles functionalized with hydrophilic thiols: synthesis and characterization". In 2018 she obtained the Master's Degree in Analytical Chemistry cum laude discussing the experimental thesis: "Determination of mycotoxins in serum samples of professionally exposed subjects" elaborated on the internship at the National Reference Laboratory for the Mycotoxins in Istituto Superiore di Sanità as part of the project: "Biomonitoring data as a tool for assessing aflatoxin B1 exposure of workers." funded by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority). Since november 2018 she is a PhD student in the XXXIV cycle of Chemical Sciences school, under the supervision of Dr. Francesca Buiarelli.
