National and International research collaborations
Since 2001, Iolanda Francolini collaborates with Prof. Gianfranco Donelli of the Italian Institute of Health, Department of Technologies and Health, for the development of antimicrobial polymers for the prevention of medical device-related infections.
Following a period of research in the States at the Center for Biofilm Engineering (Bozeman, Montana, USA), she started a collaboration with Dr. Paul Stoodley, now research assistant professor at the Center for genomic Science, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
Since 2004, she also collaborates with Prof. J.B. Kaplan, Dept. of Oral Biology, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ, USA.
